Yes, it would be great. It will make packaging the HP harder, obviously. And
will be somewhat controversial. But we may be getting closer to, in
particular, gtk being easy enough to build to be included.
It depends on there being a proposal to add it under the HP guidelines.

Software frequently requires a graphical user interface. Haskell has 2 major GUI packages (gtk and wx), but both are difficult to install, at least on Windows.
Including a GUI library with HP, or even as a separate download, would make Haskell GUI programming much more accessible.
