Things are really starting to heat up. More than a year is an unreasonably long delay for a platform release. There is a growing sentiment that the platform should just be abandoned, which in my opinion would be a shame. In the meantime, it looks like there might be yet another quick bug-fix release of GHC, deprecating 7.8.2. It appears that some additional regressions have come to light. Where are we headed at this point? Thanks, Yitz
