how big are the chances that NHC will support multi-parameter classes in the near future?
Small. We would undoubtedly like to support MPTC + fundeps, but (a) the structure of nhc98's type engine is somewhat obscure (for instance it appears to lack kind inference), and it might be easier to replace than to modify; (b) no-one has yet volunteered the time needed. Regards, Malcolm
