runQ (reifyDecl show) >>= print

Actually, I think that breaks for any function in place of "show". Similarly:

module BugReport where

data ObservedSound = ObservedSound

foo = [d|instance Show ObservedSound where show _ = "" |]

Ian L. has mentioned that this may be fixed in CVS, but I figured I'd send it out to you before I forget. peace, isaac
