"Wiki" section of the Yesod doc site

Hi everyone, I've added a new section to the Yesod doc site: the wiki[1]. This section is intended to be user-writable, so if you have any content you'd like to submit, please go ahead. In particular, this section contains the "Powered by Yesod" page: please add your sites. Unfortunately, the list from the old wiki was lost when my previous VPS died. (All my databases were backed up, I just forgot to backup the Wiki content as well...) Michael [1] http://www.yesodweb.com/page/wiki

will wiki functionality be added to yesoddocs? we could use something like that on our site (so support people can add to doc's). we'd need limited write access, but I'm sure we can work that out with isAuthorized. max On Jun 12, 2011, at 1:18 PM, Michael Snoyman wrote:

The site already has wiki functionality, in the sense that you can
create a page and others can edit it.

The yesoddocs repo is deprecated. The new yesodweb site is built using a
project that Michael's employer owns, and the code is not open source. But
it is much easier for the Yesod community to use, because you can just edit
on site WISYWIG, without having to use github and install a yesod app.
John MacFralane likes the idea of a rewrite of gitit to use Yesod [1]. If
gitit were improved more it could be used for haskellwiki.

I just noticed this site today on the powered by listing, which is being
used at a university in Japan.

Hi
2011/6/14 Greg Weber
I just noticed this site today on the powered by listing, which is being used at a university in Japan. Kestrel: A Wiki clone. https://github.com/cutsea110/Kestrel
this is my work. :-) This site is just launched at Apl 2011. which is a little modified original wiki system. You can try the original wiki site. -> http://research.timedia.co.jp/kestrel/ Anyone can read and write all pages for your test by using google or facebook or openid account like as haskellers.com. Of course, you may not use this site, if i write code dynamically. unfortunately, this wiki are written in japanese statements, now. Recently i just have successed to convert into yesod-0.8.2.1. To make Kestrel internationalization is my next task. thanks

To chime in on this old thread: As an experiment, I recently started rewriting gitit in Yesod. So far, I'm liking the experience, so I think I will continue. The library would export Gitit as a Yesod subsite that could be embedded into any Yesod site. So far things are a bit rough, but when I get a bit further I'll post what I have on github. John
