Dear Haskell wikibookians, I am having a hard time writing up our HCAR report, lately. Anybody want to take a stab at it? Here is my very clumsy attempt. -- Eric Kow http://www.loria.fr/~kow PGP Key ID: 08AC04F9 Merci de corriger mon français.

Hello,
I am having a hard time writing up our HCAR report, lately. Anybody want to take a stab at it?
I'm only in the Haskell community through wikibooks, I guess this HCAR isn't a wb thing? I guess I should hang out in #haskell more often, or subscribe to other mailing lists. -- Tchakkazulu

It's a Haskell community thing, a twice annual report of what everybody in Haskell land is up to: http://haskell.org/communities/ It's a great read for people too busy to follow the Haskell mailing lists. I guess we're part of two communities at once :-) -- Eric Kow http://www.loria.fr/~kow PGP Key ID: 08AC04F9 Merci de corriger mon français.

Thanks! *heads over to last November's report*. Anyway, your current version of the report looks okay. I can't think of anything to add. Then again, I haven't really paid attention to the wikibook lately, only to my watchpage every few days. -- Tchakkazulu

I don't think it's clumsy at all, I like it :) We should probably present the human friendly mailing list address "wikibook@haskell.org". I'm tempted to add a sentence "Of course, one of our greatest dreams is an article from one of the very founders of the Haskell programming language." at the end of the second paragraph, but I'm very unsure whether this is a good idea :) Regards, apfelmus

Haha! I was confused by that until I checked my post under GMane. Aggressive spam prevention, I guess.

Heh. Tempting indeed. I'll mull over that. It would certainly be nice to have. -- Eric Kow http://www.loria.fr/~kow PGP Key ID: 08AC04F9 Merci de corriger mon français.
