To be used in the layout hook as: windowRemove (tabbed shrinkText defaultTheme) Unfortunately this patch seems to hit a ghc-6.6.1 bug. When I apply it, while the contrib libary will build just fine, the linker will fail when compiling ~/.xmonad/xmonad.hs with this error message: /usr/local/lib/xmonad-contrib-0.6/ghc-6.6.1/libHSxmonad-contrib-0.6.a(Combo.o): In function `s1e0s_info': ghc3557_0.hc:(.text+0x3ada): undefined reference to `xmonadzmcontribzm0zi6_XMonadziLayoutziWindowNavigation_zdf3_info' /usr/local/lib/xmonad-contrib-0.6/ghc-6.6.1/libHSxmonad-contrib-0.6.a(Combo.o):(.rodata+0xa8): undefined reference to `xmonadzmcontribzm0zi6_XMonadziLayoutziWindowNavigation_zdf3_closure' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Unfortunately I cannot understand what the problem is, neither how to address it. I've installed xmonad in my home dir and I only added it to my $PATH inside my ~/.bashrc. I gues that ~/.bashrc is never executed when xmonad starts so when I restart it, it can't find xmonad. I solved it by listing the full path to xmonad in my config: , ((modMask , xK_q ), restart "/home/bas/bin/xmonad" True) This bug, which is not really a bug anymore, can be closed. ClientMessage events in 0.7?

Hi, now that 0.6 is out I’d like to get some attention on a feature needed for more complete EWMH support: The module needs to handle XEvents (ClientMessage events in particular) on a global, not per-layout, scale. I’m not following xmonad development close enough to judge what the best way of doing that would be, but I hope that you’ll find a way...
