"Max Rabkin"
I have just switched to XMonad from KDE, where I was using SKIM to input Hangul. I haven't been able to work out how to run SCIM in XMonad. Unfortunately, most of the google hits for "xmonad scim" are in Japanese, which I don't understand (I wouldn't know enough Korean to understand them, even if they were in Korean).
Can somebody who has setup SCIM or another CJK input program please point me in the right direction?
Start it in your ~/.xinitrc or ~/.Xclients or ~/.Xsession or whatever X init files your system use. Be sure to setup some environment variables properly, such as GTK_IM_MODULE and XMODIFIERS. And also make sure that the locale is correct. Xiao-Yong -- c/* __o/* <\ * (__ */\ <
