are you using the darcs version? sjanssen did some work on that last October. If not, please test these patches.
Back then, I was having a two screen xinerama setup, and I thought I had some more issues. If the darcs version does not work for you, you can try to apply these patches: http://darcswatch.nomeata.de/20081008162906-23c07-9a4be29844dc335d040f482e20... (I???m not sure if they still apply cleanly)
