Actually, I just looked at CycleWS again. It seems that indeed, it supports similar things on workspaces as the new module supports on windows. I don't feel strongly either way about merging these two. If anyone has strong feelings about this, let me know.

Oh, sorry, somehow I had missed the fact that your module cycles *windows* rather than workspaces. There may still be a possibility of refactoring out some common functionality for "cycling through things satisfying a predicate" but I'm happy leaving that for later. -Brent
