Comment #1 on issue 503 by daniel.w...@gmail.com: Persistent gray rectangles http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=503 Some notes from IRC: this seems to occur even on a stock configuration (main = xmonad defaultConfig). He's using Ubuntu, and has updated to the most recent graphics drivers. There's no compositing manager running, and xdpyinfo shows that the X server is not using save-under.
