It doesn't support "extra" keys such as XF86Back XF86Forward etc; these keys are recognised by recent versions of X11, and are recognised by other window managers such as Fvwm, but when I tried making keybindings for them in xmonad, it didn't work, and the documentation didn't include them in the list of supported keys. But as I said, there's a workaround, and I rather like the workaround, because I hadn't known about the existence of xbindkeys before.
