Issue 222: Firefox 3 breaks with "Open new windows in new tab" http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=222 Comment #1 by SpencerJanssen: This is not an xmonad bug, it is a violation of the ICCCM by Firefox: "Clients must be aware that there is no guarantee that the window manager will allocate them the requested size or location and must be prepared to deal with any size and location." Firefox assumes that the resize request will be honored, and gets rather confused when it isn't. As a workaround, try manually resizing the firefox window with the mouse, then re-tiling it.
