Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 282 by hgabreu: Tabbed layout and float windows focus bug http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=282 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. place two windows in a simpleTabbed layout have another one floating 2. select the 2º window in tabbed layout 3. mouse over the floating window, which gives it focus 4. mouse out the floating window, back to the tiled one, giving focus to the second What is the expected output? I expected that the tiled window with previous focus (2º one in simpleTabbed layout) receive focus. What do you see instead? On step 3, the 1st window in tabbed layout (master) is wrongly showed, since the user only moved the mouse over a floating window, which should have nothing to do with modifying the tiling layout. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? I using xmonad 0.8.1 and xmonad-contrib 0.8.5 on Debian Squeeze. Please provide any additional information below. This issue can always be reproduced, but not always with the exactly same output. Sometimes it doesn't happen (rarely), anothers the window that keeps being showed wrongly is not the 'master'. If this error is due to a module from XMonadContrib, please tag this issue with 'Component-Contrib' below.
