Here's some Haskell to try in ghci, once you've started X with some other window manager. :m + Graphics.X11.Xlib XMonad.Operations dpy <- openDisplay "" mapM (initColor dpy) ["red", "gray", "blue", "black", "white", "#000000", "#ffffff"] Feel free to put any other colors you think might work in that list on the third line.
