Hello, Just a quick question: what is the difference between dwmpromote and swapMaster ? I tried them all but it seems they are just the same. In a more general way, is there a good documentation for all the XmonadContrib stuff with screenshots so that I can understand in what they can be helpful or not for me ? Regards, Xavier

Before the 0.3 release we'll be gathering screenshots. Some already are available: http://xmonad.org/contrib.html Otherwise, you can read the documentation in each source -- we'll also be generating the docs for each module before release too. -- Don

They differ only when you focus the master window. In that case swapMaster does nothing whereas dwmpromote swaps the master window with the first window in the stack. Personally I like the dwmpromote style better, because it implements some kind of `other-window' behavior.
