Updates: Status: Fixed Comment #3 on issue 249 by wirtwolff: XMonad.Util.Scratchpad cannot be configured to use gnome-terminal http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=249 Fixed in darcs, and tested with gnome-terminal supporting --name. Note that some versions of gnome-terminal do not seem to allow setting resource.
