Using "xvidtune -next" and scrolling to verify was a little tedious. Apparently I made a build error. I am not sure were, as I used the commands in the shell history after the "darcs pull" to recompile and install. But evidence indicates I did something wrong :-( So, sorry for the fuzz. xmonad darcs head version is working fine with a mergeFB setup.
