Hi Ian,
I am doing an NMU upload of version 1.4.1 – I think our users have
waited long enough. I uploaded it to the 7-day delayed queue[1], in case
you want to prepare a better package until then.
I did no do any changes to the .diff.gz besides updating the changelog:
$ interdiff haskell-x11_1.3.0-1.diff haskell-x11_1.4.1-0.1.diff -p 1
diff -u haskell-x11-1.3.0/debian/changelog haskell-x11-1.4.1/debian/changelog

Yay! Well done Joachim. So we can expect to see 0.6 getting used from apt-get soon? -- Don

Thanks. Soon in Debian terms, yes, but not in xmonad terms :-) haskell-x11 will have to go through the 7-days delayed queue (or Igloo re-appears and does an upload before that). xmonad and xmonad-contrib, which are upload this very moment, will have to be manually approved in the NEW queue, as thay adds new binary packages (they were renamed since the 0.4 package). I guess we will still have to wait longer. Igloo, the Debian maintainer of haskell-x11, was unsatisfied with my NMU upload and stopped it[1]. I’ll stop pushing this for now, anyone who wants xmonad 0.6 on Debian will have to use the packages on http://people.debian.org/~nomeata/ Greetings, Joachim [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=454440 -- Joachim "nomeata" Breitner Debian Developer nomeata@debian.org | ICQ# 74513189 | GPG-Keyid: 4743206C JID: nomeata@joachim-breitner.de | http://people.debian.org/~nomeata

Thanks for pushing so hard on this Joachim. I'll take it up directly with Ian. -- Don
