With Carlos prompt launcher patch applied there's just two issues which prevent me from being ecstatic about xmonad as a replacement for dwm. First of all, it's great to not use dwm but the Prompt module. It works well even quicker although I believe there's no cache in use as in dmenu_run. Second it's superb to have capable replacement for dmenu_run. Here's the outstanding issues I need to look at and find solutions for. Some of them have already gotten suggestions on the list but I didn't yet manage to tackle them. 1) MPlayer window moving to right and down slightly when returning from fullscreen. This seemed to move in bigger steps if the window is larger. 2) Emulate dwm's Mod-0 view for seeing all windows in the 0 tag to get an overview just before I exit xmonad for making sure there's no open window I forgot about which might need interaction.
