Issue 379 in xmonad: XMonad.Util.Dmenu should accept arguments

Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 379 by MathStuf: XMonad.Util.Dmenu should accept arguments http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=379 There should be functions in XMonad.Util.Dmenu that accept arguments so that dmenu may be started with a different font, colors, etc. Then other utilities should have functions which also accept arguments (e.g., WindowBringer). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. Comment #3 on issue 379 by ankaan: XMonad.Util.Dmenu should accept arguments http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=379 It didn't really fix everything mentioned here, it was only the things I had lying around. It does nothing about the modules that uses X.U.Dmenu (WindowBringer etc.) but that should also be an easy fix. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. Comment #4 on issue 379 by MathStuf: XMonad.Util.Dmenu should accept arguments http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=379 That's fine. I wasn't sure how this would best be implemented. I have a patch for WindowBringer (Issue #378). The other modules I see that would need updating are: X.A.Commands X.U.Run X.D.Extending I may be able to get patches for these within the week -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
