I am running ubuntu 10.04, and I get an error on import Xmonad. ghc-pkg check shows multiple broken packages. I am not a programmer, but I've used xmonad with pleasure on other distributions. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix my system? I've reinstalled ghc and xmonad et al but to no avail. -- Daniel Goldin 626.817.2462

can you provide us with some more information? Such as the output of ghc-pkg check, whether you installed the packages from your Distribution (e.g. via apt-get), from hackage with cabal-install or any other way?
