Comment #2 on issue 513 by t...@takeontom.com: 'Failed to load session "xmonad"' error after selecting "GNOME with Xmonad" option in lightdm on Quantel beta http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=513 Sorry, I no longer have access to a machine that I can use to recreate this bug, so can't provide the files requested. The above instructions on how to replicate the bug should work for anyone however. Can someone else have a crack at providing the files requested by Daniel please?

If you want help fixing the misconfiguration, we'll try, but only if you stick around long enough to receive our help.

Comment #4 on issue 513 by tomsm...@protecinnovations.co.uk: 'Failed to load session "xmonad"' error after selecting "GNOME with Xmonad" option in lightdm on Quantel beta http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=513 I guess the point of me raising the bug was not so much to help my misconfiguration (I don't actually use xmonad), but more that on a virgin install of the new Ubuntu beta, xmonad is seems to be getting configured incorrectly. Figured you guys would be doing all you can to get xmonad working seamlessly with the new Ubuntu? If I get access to a laptop I can wipe again, I'll get you the appropriate config and scripts, but it's doubtful I'll get the opportunity.

Comment #5 on issue 513 by allber...@gmail.com: 'Failed to load session "xmonad"' error after selecting "GNOME with Xmonad" option in lightdm on Quantel beta http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=513 We have finite resources; telling us that you have no intention of following up on your bug report and that we should be honored to drop everything and build our own testbeds to try to reproduce it is not only not helpful, it's a trifle arrogant. Especially if, as seems likely, this is an Ubuntu specific issue.

Comment #6 on issue 513 by tomsm...@protecinnovations.co.uk: 'Failed to load session "xmonad"' error after selecting "GNOME with Xmonad" option in lightdm on Quantel beta http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=513 There is no physical way I could have been more helpful with this issue. Over the weekend I was lucky enough to have access to some laptops which I could use for testing. I don't any more. I've let you know there's a problem and exactly how to reproduce it, so if down the line you do have some resources and if you choose to, you can look into the issue. There is nothing more I can or could have done. As I said, if I get some more laptops to test on, I'll reopen this issue and help you out as much as I can.
