I'm running xmobar-0.8.rc3 now...with the configuration file you suggested: and is working fine, but. in the screnshots i can see that in your xlog the active window is marked in color: the yellow "[3]" in your screen shot...how do you do that? :)

I did a small modification to DynamicLog. If you are using xmonad-0.4 you can use the attached version of DynamicLog.hs If you are using the darcs version you can use XMonad.Config.Sjanssen which uses xmobar and a nice log formatting with colors too. Cheers, Andrea
