Compilation error questions...

Hi all, I am getting the following strange errors while compiling YHI with arm-elf-gcc. Does anyone have a suggestion about them? Not sure why dirent.h is giving an error, although it's included in the arm tools. The other errors with thread.h I suspect are due to my trying to build main without the other dependency files first. Not sure though... broken build

Hello, I was trying to add a primitive function for which I modified Prelude.hs, Prelude.c and Primitive.hs. I did not change anything related to Integral or Integer AFAIK and I didn't even open the Word.hs file, and the Prelude still has the instance declaration (instance Integral Integer where...). How do I resolve this error? I don't want to do an scons fullclean because I'm working on a modified version of yhc. I haven't come across this error before that I remember, and I was able to build and pass the unit tests with no problem till this happened. NYHC parsing of pattern guards

Hi Q1: Where do I send these emails on the shared Yhc/nhc bit? Should we perhaps merge both into one list? Q2: There seems to be a bug in the pattern guard parsing: test | a = b | Just c <- d = e Error: C:\DOCUME~2\Uni\yhc\current\inst\bin\StackSet.hs(5:5) Found | but expecte d a {-end-of-definition-or-EOF-} This fragment is a reduced test case from StackSet.hs in XMonad. I would _really_ like to be able to compile that module with Yhc! Thanks Neil

YHC Source: config.h

Hi All, I am trying to cross-compile YHC to the ARM7 using the arm-elf-gcc compiler. In particular I am just running a basic compile and link of all the source code in the Yhi kernel folder (starting with main.c). My question is regarding the config.h file, as I am getting errors that say that config.h is not the right version. Is it possible to use the config.htemplate file in the root folder of YHC? If I use the configure script to generate config.h, does anyone know what the params should be for targetting arm-elf-gcc? Thanks
