Update on Issue 143 (error in Configure)

Hi, I made some research of the problem. I am unable to fix it: my knowledge of Python is extremely low. But the problem seems to have been localized. See http://code.google.com/p/yhc/issues/detail?id=143 - I put a comment with larger details. For those who wants to try - just build yhc alone, then this problem should not occur. That is, run "scons build yhc" Yhi will not be built, and the problem arises only when building Yhi (because it needs GMP runtime). Thanks. PS Hopefully our Python experts read this and fix the problem. -- Dimitry Golubovsky Anywhere on the Web

I've just got a patch from kpreid which looks like it fixes something in this area. Please retest and let me know if things are fixed. Thanks Neil

That helped: I have built a freshly downloaded Yhc successfully. In addition, I cleared out my Yhc buildbot build tree and forced a rebuild and that seems healthy also.
Thanks
Neil
Thank a lot and best regards Thorkil

This helped. Yhc built after scons fullclean. But it still does not act properly when run without haskell sources on cmdline. See issue 146 Thanks. -- Dimitry Golubovsky Anywhere on the Web
