Good afternoon, I can't give any help in regard to installing GTK... I tried it on Windows Vista and on an Apple iMac...but alas with no success... I spent about a week on this effort... If anyone wants to set up a 'task force 'to get this GTK install working for 'newbies' - count me in... You might want to try installing the dependencies separately to see where its going wrong. For instance 'cabal install glib' and 'cabal install cairo' etc. Let me know if I can help you further. -deech On Mon, Feb 21, 2011 at 11:01 PM, Berlin Brown <berlin.brown@gmail.com> wrote: > I am following the steps outlined here but I am still getting errors related > to my install of gtk > > Here is one of the first errors: > > tup\setup.exe ... > Configuring cairo-0.12.0... > setup.exe: Missing dependencies on foreign libraries: > * Missing C libraries: z, cairo > This problem can usually be solved by installing the system packages that > provide these libraries (you may need the "-dev" versions).
