patch applied (cabal-branches/cabal-1.2): Display warning if sections are found within other sections. This

Thu Sep 13 06:13:46 PDT 2007 Thomas Schilling <nominolo(a)gmail.com> * Display warning if sections are found within other sections. This most likely represents an error (missing colon after field name). This patch is only for the Cabal 1.2 branch; the proper fix requires more complex changes. patch applied (cabal): Move expensive conviguration actions inside branch where they're used
by Duncan Coutts 20 Sep '07

Mon Sep 17 01:58:34 PDT 2007 Duncan Coutts <duncan(a)haskell.org> * Move expensive conviguration actions inside branch where they're used We only need to configure the compiler and resolve any "Cabal-Version:" dependency when we're actually going to compile the Setup.hs program. We can otherwise save time by not calling ghc and ghc-pkg unnecessarily. (I only noticed this because I've got >150 registered packages which causes ghc and ghc-pkg to be very slow to start.) M ./Distribution/Simple/SetupWrapper.hs -6 +4

patch applied (cabal): Pass on all the cabal-setup options to cabal, not just unrecognised ones

Sun Sep 16 19:51:21 PDT 2007 Duncan Coutts <duncan(a)haskell.org> * Pass on all the cabal-setup options to cabal, not just unrecognised ones So for example -v and -w get passed on rather than swallowed by cabal-setup itself. M ./Distribution/Simple/SetupWrapper.hs -5 +4

How about --strip-c++ then? Regards, Malcolm

[Hackage] #156: setup haddock: option to expose all modules

#156: setup haddock: option to expose all modules ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: ross(a)soi.city.ac.uk | Owner: Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Cabal | Version: 1.2.0 Severity: normal | Keywords: Difficulty: normal | Ghcversion: 6.6 Platform: Linux | ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- (Requested by g9ks157k(a)acme.softbase.org) If I want to build a documentation for developers which exposes all private things, it is not enough to run Haddock with `--ignore-all- exports`. Cabal already runs haddock over all the modules, but it adds `--hide` options for modules that are not exposed. Could there be an option to turn this off, so that all modules appear in the documentation? -- Ticket URL: <http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/hackage/ticket/156> Hackage <http://example.com/> My example project
