[ghc-steering-committee] Re: Extra non-tuple commas (Recommendation: Accept)

Dear fellow committee members, Since the last update here on the list there have been two minor changes: 1. We now disallow extra commas between empty brackets because it can be confusing. For example, [,] is not allowed. One exception is the already existing syntax in import statements: import Foo (,). 2. The name of the extension has been simplified to ExtraCommas (was: ExtraNonTupleCommas). Unless there are last-minute objections, I will call this proposal accepted by next Monday. Cheers, Jaro
