[Haskell] Auxilliary files in Cabal distributions

I want to build a distribution .tgz file using Cabal, and it includes all the files required for the build just fine and creates a tar file with the necessary files. But there doesn't seem to be a way to put in the README or LICENSE or other similar files. Could this be added? Or have I missed something. Paul.
