To generate .hs from .lhs, the right way is to use GHC:
$ ghc -E Foo.lhs -o Foo.hs
Argh, ok, this is really convincing. The next time I will
read ghc --help at first :-)
I like your ideas about such a "Haskell2Html" or "Super Haddock".
