[Haskell] behavioral difference between GHC and GHCi

      This code works echos lines properly under GHCi,
but just sucks in input when running the GHC
compiled executable.

  import IO
  main= do
	  x<-hGetLine stdin
	  putStr x
	  main

Am I doing something wrong?
