Maybe I'm missing the point of your question, though.
for example, i can't use previous gtk2hs version with ghc 6.10.4 on windows because there is no prebuilt library and i'm not brave enough to compile it myself. is it true that gtk2hs 0.11 should automatically compile with any ghc 6.10/6.12 on windows and we no more need prebuilt installers?
