Announcing: HsDNS Version 1.1 Available For Download

Hi,
HsDNS provides an asynchronous DNS resolver on top of the GNU ADNS
library. Not all options are supported, but A, MX, and PTR lookups
work nicely. Courtesy of Lutz Donnerhacke

, the new 1.1 release adds support for retrieving generic RR types, CNAMEs, and for NSEC zone walking. The library's homepage is at http://cryp.to/hsdns/. Using "darcs get", the source code can be downloaded from the very same location. A Cabal release archive is also available at:

The software is released under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License.
Great. Will we see this on hackage? The current hackage version is 1.0: http://hackage.haskell.org/cgi-bin/hackage-scripts/package/hsdns-1.0 Duncan

Unfortunately, I cannot update the entry at the moment because I don't remember my Hackage login and password; and the machine on which that information is stored is temporarily unavailable. I'll do the update as soon as possible, though. Thank you for reminding me. Best regards, Peter
