It seems to work the same and looks better and less mysterious, so unless arossato had a specific reason for those particular two numbers... Hi all, This code ought to work, but ManageDocks always crashes on my computer, so I haven't been able to test it properly. If those for whom ManageDocks already works could test this, that'd be great. I think it's a prettier interface for dealing with struts, and if it is sufficiently successful, we could eliminate the gaps global variable. Of course, to do this we'd have to add xinerama support, but that shouldn't be hard. And it'd be nice to have one less global variable (I think). Tue Oct 23 00:01:32 CEST 2007 mail(a)joachim-breitner.de * STRUT aware gap toggling (clean patch) Without this patch, ManageDocks would only set the gap according to a window’s STRUT when the window is first mapped. This information would then get lost when the user toggle the gap. Now, when the user toggles the Gap, all present windows are scanned for STRUT settings, and the gap is set accordingly. No need to manually configure the gap anymore. This is the same patch as before, but independant of the Hooks patches, and with more documentation.

The server hosting xmonad.org is migrating to a new datacenter in Dallas, Texas. The migration window is as follows: Window start: October 22, 2007 Window end: October 24, 2007 After the migration xmonad.org will have a new IP address. Downtime, if any, will be minimal. Thinking about it, if I understand correctly the documentation, you could perhaps insert all the normal bindings *within* a submap and as long as you deleted the original things might work... I think I've noticed that even when the prefix is hit, as long as the Mod-whatever is bound to a command, it just gets passed on.
