Issue 160: Floating windows do not change screens properly on "shift" http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=160 Comment #2 by dons00: I've reverted the patch that introduced this regression. Likely it closes the other issues too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue. xmonad and the google summer of code
by Don Stewart 22 Mar '08

22 Mar '08

I've created a ticket under the haskell.org's Google Summer of Code page for an xmonad project: adding compositing support. http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/summer-of-code/ticket/1548 Any developer with relevant experience who'd be interested in spending 3 months over the summer working on this, please add your name to the ticket. I've identified possibly SoC-accepted orgs that may be interested in funding this, other ideas for who'd be interested are welcome. Cheers, Don

Issue 161 in xmonad: Floating windows are sized oddly

Issue 161: Floating windows are sized oddly http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=161 Comment #2 by daniel.wagner: Aha! Corroboration. I was asking people on #xmonad to see if they could reproduce this, and getting a whole lot of no's. I thought it might be my fault somehow, but then <yigal> ah nvidia-settings is doing what you wrote <yigal> http://yigalweinstein.info/screen-2008-03-20-2.png I tried having a look at the code, but I couldn't see anything obviously wrong in the applySizeHints function. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
