toggling struts in response to urgency

When a window marks itself as urgent, I'd like my struts to appear if they're not currently showing, but if they're already showing they should stay. Unfortunately, AvoidStruts only seems to support a ToggleStruts message. Is there a workaround?

Comment #2 on issue 317 by gwern0: XMonad.Prompt.Shell repeatable hang http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=317 Just to clarify: is this C-c-Escape (three buttons simultaneously), or just C-c, pause/lift-fingers, Escape? Because C-c is default bound to copyString, and I wonder why hitting escape after copyString would do this - it *should* just paste the X selection into the prompt and then immediately exit the prompt. Perhaps there is a race condition? Or maybe it has nothing to do with copyString at all - maybe someone could try modifying the default keymap to bind C-c to something else entirely and see whether 'C-c Esc' still hardlocks. Are using xmonad from darcs, or a released version? Important note for any testers: this will put xmonad in a hard lock (at least as far as I can tell), you'll have to kill xmonad or Xorg to get out of the lock. Hey, This patch cleans up the interface to A.GridSelect. I'm not sure whether to apply it, since there are some drawbacks noted in the description. In general I think it is an improvement over the multiple defaultGSConfigS currently used, but what do you think? -- Adam
