Move EWMH support initialization to a startupHook

This patch will break existing configs. EwhmDesktops.setSupported sets some X atoms to constants. This should rightfully be done once, in a startup hook, rather than repeatedly in the log hook. This complicates the user configs a bit (though they can just use Config.Desktop) but fixes problems like setWMName having to be called in the log hook if ewmh is being used.

This is useful, then those buttons cannot be modified with the keyboard. Perhaps compliance to WM_TAKE_FOCUS should be configurable. xev works properly. I'm not sure of the java focus issues: with some apps like jmemorize, you have to occasionally click in a grouping of widgets to gain keyboard focus. Without this patch, the only way to get Cellwriter to send its input somewhere useful is to doIgnore it in a manageHook. Cellwriter and XMonad

I can't seem to get Cellwriter (a handwriting recognition input panel) to work with XMonad, whereas it works fine under other window managers. When I enter letters in Cellwriter and hit the "Enter" button, the input doesn't seem to go anywhere. The only Cellwriter-related config I've put in my xmonad.hs is to always float it, via the usual myManageHook = composeAll [ ... className =? "Cellwriter" --> doFloat, ... ] Has anyone got Cellwriter working with XMonad? Or should I report this as a bug? Thanks, Toby -- Dr T. S.
