Dear xmonad, this is a patch bundle that makes MPlayer happy when not floating, including fullscreen support. XMonad.Layout.Monitor - ToggleMonitor message not working

Unfortunately hiding/showing using the ToggleMonitor message does not work. I've tried to ignore xclock with the doIgnore managehook before the manageMonitor hook. Furthermore I've run xmonad with defaultConfig and only the manageMonitor hook applied. However, neither helped. Any ideas/hints on this issue? Hi again. The first patch removes (unused there) datatype declaration from X.L.LayoutBuilderP module, and exports Predicate typeclass from it. instance Predicate p w declaration means that "p" type may be used as (monadic) predicate on "w" type. Obvious example is instance Predicate Property Window. Other examples could represent some predicates on window groups or smth else. The second patch is for xmonad-extras repository. It adds new module, XMonad.Util.WindowPropertiesRE. PropertyRE is almost same as X.U.WindowProperties.Property, but while Property needs exact string (title/window class/whatever) matching, PropertyRE uses regular expressions matching. For example, Title "#xmonad" matches only windows having exactly "#xmonad" in title, but RE (Title "xmonad") matches windows with titles "xmonad(a)conference.jabber.ru" and "#xmonad" and so on. Also X.U.WindowPropertiesRE module contains instance declaration for Predicate PropertyRE Window. To use regular expression, I added build-depend from "regex-posix" package into xmonad-extras.cabal. [patch] output exitcode when no xmonad.error output

Hi, If xmonad is running without ghc installed for some reason and one tries to restart it (mod-q), the recompile error dialog doesn't contain any useful error message from execv (it fails silently when it can't find the command). Here is a small patch to output the exitcode when compilation fails and xmonad.error is empty. Jens

Gnome3 and xmonad

Gnome3 just hit my distribution and after the upgrade from Gnome2 I no longer get xmonad on login :( There are many things I like about Gnome3 and the shell, but I've gotten really used to xmonad, manipulating windows via the keyboard, and most importantly I love the tiling window placement.
