Quite difficult hack

Hi, folks! I'm trying to set to functions in my xmonad.hs, without success. I need to change my workspace with functions keys, not as normal with numbers. I had try the Droundy.hs method, but it not work on my config. Also, I want to have my opacity change on focus in and out. Anyone knows how can I achive this with transet-df? myStartupHook Examples?

XMonad Fans, Could someone point me towards examples of running things like xsetroot, etc., from a myStartupHook? I found a sample xmonad.hs config file and have tweaked a couple of settings. The example contains a myStartupHook, which does nothing: -- By default, do nothing. myStartupHook = return () Being new to both Haskell and XMonad I'm not sure where to go from there. StackTile, a new tiling algoritm.

I recentley started to use xmonad again after a while with DWM. With DWM i used a patch that gave me a tilingalgoritm that stacked the windows like in the dishes tiling, but with the ability to resize the master pane. I did'nt find such a path for xmonad so I wrote my own. I find this kind of tiling superior on small screens. I also attached the darcs patch. /Rickard

A standalone script from ARG (of dwm fame), for setting the window manager name from the command line.
