Multiple statusbars

Hi Everybody, I am looking for a way to have two statusbars (xmobar or dzen), one at the top and the other one at the bottom of the screen, which could be always visible. I have tried some configs on the Xmonad/Config_archive and other from other sites, but actually I don't how to launch and set the second bar to be not hidden by the windows. [xmobar] XBM icons for layout indicators

Hello, community. Can someone point me into the right direction on how to set up XMonad + XMobar to show XBM icons instead layout names? My current XMonad configuration <https://github.com/zoresvit/dotfiles/tree/master/xmonad>. *PS:* I'm not a Haskell programmer, know only basics for simple XMonad configuration. Switch to Greek keyboard 2. Launch sell prompt (modm F3) 3. Type any letter in the prompt The typed letter does not appear in the prompt. Some times Esc works and focus returns in an opened X window but the prompt remains visible until I restart the X session. Other times the behaviour is worse. Opened applications do not receive keyboard input at all. I can use the mouse and paste selected text though. Also I can switch to another desktop (modm 1-9). It seems that only letter keys are disabled. I have attached my XMonad configuration file. bluetile: Configuring number of virtual desktops; 2-monitor behavior

Hello! I'm just now dabbling in tiling window managers, so sorry if this question is less technical than befits the mailing list. I didn't find user-level docs on http://www.bluetile.org/. So here go the questions, basic as they may be: 1. How do I configure the number of workspaces to use in bluetile? 2. Is there a way to sanitize the 2-monitor behavior in bluetile. Though I didn't quite figure out the logic behind workspace switches, and maybe they are working as intended; it's just that the workspace switches on a 2-monitor display confuse me. Is there config magic that will unconfuse me? F

Visit empty workspace, open a program, like a web browser. 2. Visit another empty workspace (mod+<1/2/3/etc.>) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect to see an empty workspace, with my background image. Instead, I see the program I opened on the other workspace. I can't do anything to it, it just appears to be there. This is a bit disorienting. If I open a window on every workspace, this bug is not a problem. Workspaces and window management work as expected. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Debian GNU/Linux, unstable branch. Installed through apt. I recently did a large amount of package upgrades, and this bug was introduced. Oddly, I did the same updates on another machine, running an almost identical stack with xmonad, and the bug does not exist.
