Issue 112: Using LayoutHints crashes xmonad http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=112 New issue report by v.dijk.bas: I just pulled the latest patches (27 Dec 2007) from xmonad and XMonadContrib and rebuild everything. Now xmonad crashes when a new window is opened. This only happens when using LayoutHints. Have a dual-head setup with a tabbed layout on one screen. 2. Move the mouse pointer into the tabbed screen. 3. Use the keyboard to move focus to the non-tabbed screen. 4. Click a tab with the mouse. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the tab's window to be focused. Instead, nothing happens. What version of the product are you using? Issue 43: Call setlocale at startup http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=43 Comment #4 by andrea.rossato: all those activities are not done by the core, though. as far as I remember the core (xmonad) does not use any locale dependent function in a locale dependent way (the core developers may jump in to correct me if I'm wrong here). this is the reason we have this issue around: we need to address i18n somehow, which is - so far - a contrib issue only. we did not decide how, yet.
