darcs patch: fixes a possible memory leak

Using "xvidtune -next" and scrolling to verify was a little tedious. Apparently I made a build error. I am not sure were, as I used the commands in the shell history after the "darcs pull" to recompile and install. But evidence indicates I did something wrong :-( So, sorry for the fuzz. xmonad darcs head version is working fine with a mergeFB setup. Remaining tasks before 0.3 release

This is a proposed set of tasks remaining to do before we release xmonad 0.3 -- the release with all originally planned features implemented: * finish float layer merge (fixes fullscreen/float interation) -- dons * make layout info persist across restarts -- sjanssen * management filters (clients are assigned to workspaces and layouts) * _NET_WM_STRUT to support dock apps in gaps -- jcreigh * module-local state for extensions * h98 StackSet + catch * greedy workspace switching Anything else that remains to be done? Ensure it is on the bug tracker. We know how to do most of these, so perhaps we just take the next 2 weeks to finish these off, then a week of testing, then 0.3 comes out? David, and other hard core extension guys -- your job will be to ensure the api is rich enough that you can do whatever you want, before 0.3 comes out. -- Don

With a Xienrama setup, create a floating window. 2. Drag the window from one screen to another. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The floating window is over the second workspace but logically part of the first. Dragging windows across screens should switch the window's workspace. This patch takes the BackCompat module out of XMonadContrib. It's been some two weeks since it stopped being sufficient, and I have since switched to 6.6, so maintenance will stop. ~d
