What do you see instead? Nothing happens. This doesn't occur with other WM (metacity). Are you using an xmonad.hs? Please attach it and the output of "xmonad --recompile". Start Google Chrome/Chromium. 2. Go to Options -> Under the Hood -> Clear browsing data... 3. Or Options -> Personal Stuff -> Import data from another browser... What is the expected output? What do you see instead? A dialog pops up (assuming you've set up xmonad to float dialogs), but it's shaking all the time and basically useless. Tiling the dialog does make it usable, but it's just a workaround. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Darcs version on Arch. Are you using an xmonad.hs? Please attach it and the output of "xmonad --recompile". Please provide any additional information below. I'm not really sure whether to blame XMonad or Google Chrome. I have a static config containing lots of topics, but sometimes I have a task that requires a new topic and I dont want to add it to my config but just add it temporarily. Therefore, it would be nice, if there was a way to easily combine X.A.TopicSpaces with X.A.DynamicWorkspaces and X.Prompt. Something like a keybind that pops-up two prompts, one for the topic name and one for the action and then creates this new topic, and one for deleting topics... darcs patch: X.A.TopicSpace: new viewMethod field

I've attached a small patch which adds a 'viewMethod' field to TopicSpace configs, allowing the user to choose what method (usually view or greedyView) is used to view workspaces. This will not break any configs (except for those silly enough to use an explicit TopicConfig constructor instead of overriding fields in the default config record) since the default is the same as the old behavior. -Brent

It is easy to get windows messed up. A window which should show on main screen can jump to another screen. What version of the product are you using? Instead of this XMonad switches forth and back between the current workspace and the workspace with gedit. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? XMonad 0.8.1 from Ubuntu 9.10 repo. Please provide any additional information below. RunOrRaise works well with other applications. This bug may be related to 343. The modified state is also passed to the subsequent call of redoLayout, whose return takes precedence if both functions return modified states of the layout modifier.
