Hi Everyone, I'm working for Xmonad package for Pardus and Pardus package management system named pisi but before ı want to install xmonad and haskell dependency my computer But I have some problem. What do you have in your tray?

I started using XMonad a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. I hadn't tried a tiling WM before - I'm amazed at how much more spacious my screens feel. After trying both xmobar and dzen2 I've found that I prefer xmobar. I've also tried it running it with Trayer (I started by following John Goerzen's tutorial) but I have the sense I'm not getting as much out of it as I could be. If there are any Trayer (or similar) users on the list, what applets do you have there? For the moment I've only found Gajim useful. I'm using XMonad on a desktop, so nm-applet for instance isn't as helpful as it would be elsewhere. Is there a Gtk (or GNOME) mixer applet? That's something I'd like to add but the candidates I've found (like gnome-alsamixer) don't seem to use an applet. Thanks, - John

Could you please update the Fedora link on http://xmonad.org/download.html to reflect this? New Window Split and SSH

Hi, I have an idea. I don't know if my idea is newer,.. well, I need to use ssh frequently, and I did think that if I would might automate this tasks. The mod-shift-return, is the classical command that I can to do split current window. I would like to make different, I would like to do a "special command" that through I would might to do split current window *and* automatically make a ssh call to a host predetermined. Can I to do something like this? There are some equal or equivalent to this functionality on the xmonad? -- scolfield

This can be fixed by frobbing the layout again.

The dialog should be floated above the window for which it is transient. It both makes sense and avoids many issues from issue 95 Xmonad running on Debian.

Start Mozilla Thunderbird and some other windows 2. Go to Account Settings in Thunderbird 3. Move the Account Settings window to try to see what's behind it 4. Click on a different window 5. Mouse over the thunderbird Account Settings window What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the background window to remain the same. Instead, the background window changes to some predefined window. This prevents me from seeing the window in the background while typing into the Account Settings window. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? xmonad 0.8.1 on Gentoo Linux. Are you using an xmonad.hs? Please attach it and the output of "xmonad --recompile". Yes. Attached. xmonad --recompile has no output. Please provide any additional information below. Perhaps this problem is related to dialogs that disallow the parent window from being used. Hello all. This patch adds two functions to XMonad.Actions.GridSelect: moveNext and movePrev. They move selection in gridselect to next and previous elements, respectively. One may map them to Tab/Shift-Tab keys.
