I just added [haskell] Server = http://code.haskell.org/arch/x86_64/ to my /etc/pacman.conf and tried to install haskell-hdbc-sqlite3 with the following result: HDBC-sqlite3-1.1.4.0: dependency HDBC-1.1.4 doeReading package info from stdin ... done. sn't exist (use --force to override) HDBC-sqlite3-1.1.4.0: dependency base-3.0.1.0 doesn't exist (use --force to override) HDBC-sqlite3-1.1.4.0: dependency bytestring-0.9.1.0 doesn't exist (use --force to override) HDBC-sqlite3-1.1.4.0: dependency mtl-1.1.0.0 doesn't exist (use --force to override) error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly Probably a few packages on there needs rebuilding with GHC 6.10.3. Readline/Haskline

Hi, May be I am just being stupid and not hunting the right place but the latest ghc 6.10.3 package in arch does not expose the Readline library or any of its cousins. However ghci is working just fine with tab completion etc. I am not able to use it for programming. Regards ppk

I just noticed that haskell-test-framework-quickcheck2[1] isn't in AUR. Hello, I noticed that our ghc-6.10.3 package ships the following bug: http://www.nabble.com/ghc-pkg-check-problem-in-6.10.2-td22846037.html Should we include the fix described in the PKGBUILD? Matt

ghc-6.10.3 about to go to extra

Hey, ghc-6.10.3 upgrade is imminent. I've already uploaded i686 (but didn't update the dbs yet) and rebuilt the following: cabal-install, haskell-http, haskell-zlib, haskell-x11, xmonad, xmonad-contrib If you have ghc library packages, they will need to be rebuilt with the new compiler. I'll build x86_64 packages on monday and update both arches then. --vk

Arch Linux Haskell Logo

Hi all, I just wanted to share my attempt at an Arch Linux Haskell logo with you. I've attached both the svg and a 256x256 png file. There's a thread about it on the Arch forum here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=70945 Feel free to use it and improve it. If someone else has already created a logo, just let me know. And we can use pacman's configuration file handling instead of rolling our own. 6.10.2-2 postponed then a bit more :) I hope I can get this out soon, because I'll be on vacation until the 19th, and away from my x86_64 box. --vk
