sof 2001/12/13 22:47:30 PST Modified files: src connect.h hugs.c machdep.c Log: Tidy up the shell / subprocess creation code: shellEsc() now takes care of it all. It takes a pair of flags, one which control whether to use a straight system() call and a second which controls whether the subprocess should be invoked synchronously or not. cvs commit: hugs98/src machdep.c
by Sigbjorn Finne 13 Dec '01

13 Dec '01

sof 2001/12/13 18:13:20 PST Modified files: src machdep.c Log: startEdit (win32 only): reworked :editor invocation. The following behaviour is now implemented: * :edit is synchronous, causing the interpreter to wait for the editor process to complete before returning. If it shuts down in an orderly manner, reload the edited script. * use CreateProcess() instead of Windows 3.x's WinExec(). * allocate a new console window for console-based editors, none for GUI/windows based ones.
