sof 2002/10/07 16:41:06 PDT Modified files: src hugs.c Log: interpreter(): wrap a Win32 SEH handler around the read-eval-print loop, catching EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOWs. If the C stack is exhausted, we reset the PAGE_GUARD flag on the last page before scrubbing the C stack & longjmp() out of trouble. I _believe_ this will behave identically with Win2k and Win9x codebases, but have only tested with the former (XP). It is only enabled when compiling with MSVC. by Alastair Reid 03 Oct '02

03 Oct '02

reid 2002/10/03 04:03:50 PDT Modified files: src static.c type.c Log: A lint-like pass over Hugs revealed two trivial errors: The pre-ansi decls for args of typeError were out of order. The pre-ansi decls for args of otvarsZonk omitted 3rd arg. Shouldn't affect generated code at all. [The 'lint' used was my cross-module inliner which reads in a bunch of C files, reorders the definitions, attached the keyword 'inline' where it seems appropriate and tries to compile the result (all the while trying to preserve type correctness, preserve and reflect sharing of global variables, kill dead function definitions, provide control over code bloat, etc.). This tends to catch errors between separate .c files.] Revision Changes Path 1.103 +4 -3 hugs98/src/static.c 1.55 +3 -3 hugs98/src/type.c

sof 2002/09/30 20:48:58 PDT Modified files: src hugs.c server.c Log: New option/toggle, {+,-}N, which controls what the default search path will refer to, the 'old' library setup (-N [default]), or the new hierarchical one (+N). This toggle is only settable at startup time (i.e., like {+,-}98). A warning is issued if +N is used, but the user's -P settings make the hierarchical libs unreachable.
